Do you have a normal HDD where you can install Destiny 2? From what I've read in the past 2 years, for some reasons Destiny 2 doesn't like NVME that much. What're your exact PC specs? How powerful is your PSU? How old is it?

I don't actually have an HDD anymore. I gave it to a friend when I gave him my old pc. My exact specs are as follows: MOBO: MSI MPG x570 Gaming Edge WIFI CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x RAM: 16GB Ballsitx (clocked at 2666 which is the default no XMP enabled) GPU: 5700 XT Power Color Red Devil PSU: RM750 Gold Fully modular power supply (Purchased 4/7/2020) 2 M.2 NVME Drives 980 samsung 1TB and 2 SSD Samsung 500GB I am using an ASUS GT501 Case with an Elite cappelix cooler (3 fan running exhaust) 4 Case fans. GPU Temps are between 75C and 85C. Around 64-72C if I am undervolting. I have two monitors; one is an acer predator 1440p 165hz 27in and the other is a HP24 1080P 144hz 24in. Both are running in 100hz mode. I am not using HDR. Also, game plays the same regardless of resolution but really hates windowed mode. Will have the same frames regardless of resolution or image fidelity. Lowest vs highest settings have the same exact performance. Also, the load times I feel are a direct side effect to the Graphics card. Whenever it takes load to load in, I am either about to have a total system reset or receive an error code. If I try to change equipment, options, or just look at my character while in a loading screen the chances of a complete system restart or error code increase DRAMATICALLY. Playing in window mode makes this happens less, but I have to play in about 720p and it stutters horribly. Also, when inspecting armor for slotting the game chugs to about 30fps easily and I have no idea why. I had none of these problems pre-Beyond Light. I was getting about 144hz locked at max settings unless something crazy was going on, but now I can barely break 80 when staring at the sky or in orbit. My card performs perfectly normal in all my titles. Kingdom Come deliverance on MAX settings runs better than D2 at this point.

  • Okay, you could try installing Destiny 2 in one of the two SSDs. The PSU should be fine.

  • So, changing the game to my SSD has done nothing for load times or crashing. I deleted it and reinstalled it on the SSD just to make sure. No effect.

  • Can you upload a Dxdiag report? On a site like pastebin.com then link it here.

  • I will try that and see.
