Okay Hunter mains

If stompees is balanced and doesn’t give a huge advantage over movement and positioning… Why haven’t you taken them off, no no no! Don’t un-equip them now, it’s okay to admit you have a problem—an addiction.     That video quite frankly is not good. It reeks of bias and console player. To be clear if you are on console and think it's a problem because of controller turn speed that's fine, I don't agree with you because I have used a controller on pc and had no issue killing stompee hunters but if you have that perspective then sure. Not going to argue with someone who is essentially playing a different game. To answer the question of why hunter mains havent taken them off, 1. Dont know what game cool guy is playing but before cooldowns were nerfed half of the hunters I saw in PvP, self included, used dragon's shadow. I think that it was always WAY better than stompees. Having handling like that is way more valuable than a jump that is more likely to overcommit you to vertical space that you will get shot out of. 2. Its because hunters have no other exotic geared towards PvP. If we look at exotics that other classes have aside from their movement exotics, warlocks have ophidians and karnstein armlets both of which are extremely good and titans have a number of useful ones such as synthoceps, one eyed mask, peacekeepers and even citans ramparts. The "stompees problem" is rooted in the fact that hunters have no other good exotics except dragons shadow which was just nerfed hard. Wormhusk maybe but that is really all, and not everyone can make wormhusk work because you have to play a certain way that not everyone can get used to. My favourite part of the video is when he gets cammycakes to demonstrate the movement abilities of all three classes. First of all he intentionally tried harder on the hunter, for example he would slide backwards and flick 180 to shoot ONLY when showing off the hunter when you can literally do that on any class and you dont even need a movement exotic. Second of all you can do all that crazy flashy movement but little reminder that this is a shooter game, and if it's me fighting him in that scenario im just going to put down a rift and stand there and shoot him while hes smashing his keyboard trying to be a cracked movement player, 50% of the time of which is spent in an animation which means that he cant shoot back. It is literally just like Apex legends where there is a pandemic of "movement players" who can tap strafe 180 wallbounce superglide in the firing range all day but cant actually shoot straight and who therefore get embarassed by controller players in actual games. I also like it when he plays the clip on altar of flame of him jumping over the warlocks head in slow motion as if its a demonstration of anything that proves anything. Couldve done the same thing with a non enhanced jump. What is he trying to prove. No I am not a hunter main. I play my hunter and enjoy it but I am not biased towards it in any way. What I want is to be able to have fun on all three classes and I would definitely stop playing hunter if stompees were nerfed into the ground, not because I crutch them, like I said I am the most used to dragons shadow, but because hunters would then be left with truly no competition to Warlocks with the movement capability of top tree dawn and the uncontested and ever so helpful handling advantage that they have over the other two classes.
