Because we all know bungie isn't gonna return the vaulted maps and will slowly drip feed them once a year, and that doesn't solve how dominant they are on every other map

Not a HC user but I disagree. Though we could use larger maps with varied ranges of cover so that HCs and,to a lesser extent, shotguns aren’t the best choice to use. Almost every map has its main engagement spots built to HC range or shotgun. To not use them sorta handicaps most players. Great players will always do great no matter what.

very true, but atm we dont have those maps and i dont really see bungie making them any time soon even when we do get a couple new maps thats only like 2 out of all the other maps we already have, and even then whos to say the couple new maps we do get will be optimized to scouts

Neither do I 😕. I do wish they’d bring in some of the larger maps from D1 to D2. Was a fan of combined arms with vehicles and turrets, was great silly fun. And yeah, when they have some long spots to some maps, you’ll always find some people camping them with scouts and snipers (usually me to be honest) keeping the lane controlled. Which I can understand why people find that infuriating. Almost seems like they’ll be damned if they do and damned if they don’t on how they design maps. But as long as there are new maps, that fit 6v6 much better, I’ll be happy, for awhile at least 😉

i aint gonna lie i dont like 6v6, i think 4v4 is way better, i struggle in 6v6 in destiny 2 but in splitgate where it is 4v4 i am usually a god, i dont like 6v6 because if i need kills ill go off by myself and cant counter 3 dudes shooting at me with hc

I’m like the opposite! I thrive in the chaos of 6v6 and pull of nice flanks and ambushes a lot. Though I did decent in 4v4 as well. 4v4 would be nicer on most of the maps we have. 3v3 I find too slow paced and boring. I can’t focus when it’s like that. Goes to show how diverse he playerbase is in what they like

Yea, being teamshot annoys me as well. Love a good duel between another guardian, that’s for sure!

Yeah and if A teammate is following me to teamshoot then I usually don't get the kill which sucks if your are grinding for a catalyst

dmt admittedly would be too strong and tbh it also does need an aa nerf but i feel hc needs harsher damage falloff penelties and should take more skill to aim considering their damage and the range they play at

Yes while that sounds good then what would replace it it would be DMT because you don’t need AA with that or high impact pulse like messanger and also it would revolve into a special ammo only economy

what? no people would still use hc because they are not that creative, but less would crutch them, more people would be inclined to use ar smg and scouts, atm its not really balanced that hc can compete with scouts smg and ar despite them being in 3 wildly different ranges

And that brings new problems with people camping in the back of the map with scouts, songs are already good , autos will basically never do good and everything your talking about will not affect most players you still have crimsons last word and all those other things needing hand cannons would only make people less aggressive

Then go play a realistic shooter if people are less aggressive we are back to last session with three peaking again
