Some people are saying there should be stricter penalties for quitting matches. Sorry, but no. If anything, there should be no penalties until Bungie fixes the pubstomping. It's fine for people to quit because they are tired of serving as cannon fodder.

Edited by Vanzen: 1/19/2022 6:42:26 PMAs a new light (4 months) and after having been a good boy since the beginning, acccepting to be the punchingball for players way out of my league due too scandalous matchmaking, I ve decided to react ... I just quit. Period. When I feel the inevitable stomping on its way. I quit. And all noobs like me should do the same. Only way to (maybe) get a reaction from Bungie, or even from the said stompers who might begin to understand its also in their own interest to see a balanced matchmaking. Am even inclined to immediately quit when I see in the lobby some teamate with a KD more than 2 times superior to mine as I know it will be the same on "the other" side. Matchmaking should be made according to the lowest KD present, starting at 0.40 till 1.00. From then, and considering your now a seasoned player, normal matchmaking could resume. As an exemple, in a match with the lowest beeing 0.40, none should be above 0.80. Lowest beeing 0.50, none above 1.00. Etc etc, till 1.00 matched vs 2.00. How can it be acceptable to see people with 0.40 kd mixed with people with kd above 3 or more ?! This way a new player on his way to beeing decent, I think 1.00 is a good mileage, would be assured to get a fair training and a good experience. And if the said new player never manage to improve enough, at least he will always have some fun ....
