Anyone else find Snipers don't feel good on console ?

I think it's a combination of primaries having a another of aim assist and being incredibly easy to use and other specials not really needing the precision element (arguably bar slugs) as well as the fact that you can move pretty fast and the connection being pretty appalling. You can snipe if you sit back and hold a lane, and against a less experienced player but I can count on one hand how many players I've seen able to reasonably snipe. Thoughts ? Opinions ? Edit: Thanks for all the responses. Looks like a vast majority say snipers a fine, and I'm okay with that, guess I should just square up and git gud, lol. I would like anyone who cares to answer to elaborate on the following regarding their comparisons to other special weapons: -how easy does it feel to use (risk/reward) ? -how many kills do you get with a snipers compared to a shotgun/fusion/linear per game ? -how many snipers do you encounter across(control, survival, trials, etc) the crucible compared to other special weapons ?

It depends on the sniper rifle, and what “feels good,” as far as snipers go, is quite subjective. A lot of the new or reissued snipers we have now have high zoom scopes, which limits your peripheral vision when ADS. This wouldn’t be much of an issue IMO, if there weren’t so many more small maps than big maps in the game currently; this causes the most frustration for me. I have a few snipers that work really well for my play styles, and I can do well with them in spite of the high zoom. However, the high zoom and often low handling can make them feel pretty sluggish, so I can’t react as fast as I would like to sometimes. If I play on a map that is generally spacious with a few choke points or lanes, I do better with a sniper and a strong mid-range weapon (smgs, sidearms, hand cannons, et cetera). If the map is small and encourages more aggressive, close quarter duels, I usually do better with a shotgun or a fusion rifle. Overall, I think that snipers need bigger maps to really shine, but they still have viability and can be effective if used skillfully on the right maps. TLDR: Snipers feel okay to me, but need bigger maps to be more effective and to lean into the role they were designed for.
