Trouble is, people complaining about Hunters are crucible players that see more Hunters than any other class, most of which are running Stompees with a shotgun. When a majority of the people you encounter are running the exact same build, you can't help but wonder what makes it so popular, and then you realize this community has used and always will use the strongest, most powerful setup so they can win in the lowest effort way possible, with the lowest possible risk, because winning to them is more important than the experience leading up to the win. Most people in this pvp community don't play what they find fun. Nearly everyone has some off-meta gun or some garbage weapon that they think is just a fun one to use. I adore Outbreak for example, but I consistently lose to Vigilance Wing, No Time, and of course shotgun stompees hunters. stompees may be training wheels, but...that's why they're so popular: they win half the battle for you.
