Master should have a chance to reward exotics in a fireteam. Legend is a cakewalk solo. that's why nobody does master.

Masters are a cake walk solo, doing as a team would be an absolute joke.

Honestly the masters are also a cake walk except for the constant teleporting nonstop firing of the overload captains.. And with a bit of practice you can figure out the best way to get around these too. Grind for power and then take them on when you are closer to par with the power level will help but, even when you are far above.. you arn't ever going to be overpowered.. Destiny doesn't like it when you are overpowered for anything. You are only ever at power, which can bring its own frustrations.

You DO get exotics while you're in a fireteam. You just can't unlock the NEW stuff, for the first time, while with others.

I've done it with multiple fireteams. 2-3 min runs and you all have a chance at an exotic. I am "not capping"
