I agree. Remember when you would see someone get gally even though they were bottom of pvp and it would just make me scream inside

I actually had a Smoggy Pluto crucible match. I had a very bad match and somehow got a Gjallerhorn in the post game rewards.

I bet you were screaming with joy. Those were the days…now you just have to complete boring steps and it drops.

I was to a degree. I already had one Gjallerhorn I got from a purple Rahoul engram. It was getting tiring switching it from character to character.

Yep. Too bad the app is more fun at times than the game.

I miss having the opportunity to have the best weapons in the game drop randomly from any activity. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that best weapons should not be available/targetable through end game activity, but the thrill of having g-horn or Luna drop from a patrol or quickplay match is missing.

It’s difficult and a fine balance. I also miss the excitement of weapons dropping like gally and IB. I remember watching YouTube vids of people screaming when it dropped for them. Getting it from a boring quest line is not exciting at all. But we also know difficulties of RNG, and frustration of it all. I was the last in my clan to get gally to drop in D1, some never got it until Xur sold it in the last week of D1 days. I don’t know the answer, maybe quest to get it initially which then unlocks it from dropping with random rolls drop from gameplay thereafter??
