Iron Banner is still running on the "token" economy from vanilla Destiny 2. Bungie is just getting around to getting rid of it.

Do you think planetary vendors need a change too?

Not sure how Bungie plans on handling them. They seem to be eliminating them, and replacing them with seasonal vendors....but then leaves those to kind of stagnate. I don't understand what Bungie's plan is with them, because I'm not entirely sure they really have one. Which is why I fought having the Factions return. Their return would have served no purpose other than nostalgia....in a game with tons of unused or under-used vendors.

I was thinking since the tower vendors took priority in changing to a reputation system, thay might slowly roll out the same thing for planetary ones. like say just by doing activities on a planet will increase your reputation with them and the more challenging the content, the more rep like: higher level Nightfalls that take part on the planet, seasonal content, public events (Heroic maybe mattering again), lost sectors, empire hunts, raids, blind well or even simply doing patrols. Picking up or buying planetary flowers for weapons and armour, just does not cut it for me. Or maybe I am getting head of myself. I feel like all bad elements of D2 Y1 just need to die.
