This is a great change. Bungie finally has a vision for their game and you should let them enact it before complaining.
If I was in charge, no guns would make orbs.

-
But they provide access to Charged with Light mods without any skill or strategy and reduce most players builds to Taking Charge + Protective Light. This will make build making more interesting.

I would actually understand the removal of orbs more than this change. In D1 you could not make orbs for yourself. But with the recent changes to Super cooldowns orbs are more important than ever. Disagree.

Okay luke

Yep definitly a puke smith idea, including the claive ore whatever it's called. Getting farther away from shooting cool guns, and moving more to WoW.
-
Luke screwed this game up and made me leave. I literally checked out Beyond Light to laugh and cringe at how far this game had fallen. Blackburn saved the game and ideas like this are exactly how he has done it.

If I was in charge no guns would shoot bullets. Matter of fact there'd be no guns at all.

Strawman. Complete strawman. Orb generation was added to base game D2 to try to keep players in a boring game. Destiny is much more complex and complete now and this outdated relic of a system is completely unnecessary, and makes orbs too easy to generate for charged with light and similar perks. This will increase build diversity, encourage you to synchronize your armor with your subclass and guns, and improve the games build crafting overall.

there are like no other interesting mods that work well in all content. I don't know why you hate CWL so much, but cutting out mods is not going to help anything. Removing some functionality of Taking Charge, will just increase use of even easier mods like Shield Break, Charge Harvester, Radiant/Powerful Friends, and Stacks on Stacks which can and already do easily replace/make up for it

Vast majority of actual players highly disagree

I know. But players also liked the broken and crumbling Forsaken era. Bungie is just now finally recovering from base game Destiny 2 and a lot of people are unhappy with the changes.
