They need to remove the “same infinity or elemental burn” nonsense.
Just another limitation for a game that is meant to be a RPG.
This is the reason why Elemental Wells can’t reach their max potential because you have to match the same elemental type.

Or bring back the ability to slot different energy types on weapons (like when D2 was released) Seems like everything is reverting to original D2 so lump this in as well.

True. I don’t know why they remove that concept. It wasn’t breaking anything but yet they are using it as a means to control how players play.
