  • I have already tried ALL available network troubleshooting on my end, as I stated in the post you did not read, and instead skimmed for an error code that you could post a useless link towards and call it a day. I would appreciate some actual help, thank you. I read your useless currant article telling me the problem is on my end, of course always blaming the customer, typical bungie. If that article was at all helpful I wouldn't have had to make this post in the first place. This problem started with YOUR HOTFIX! No other program or game has any issue on my PC. Yet, my connection to your destination servers is blocked for some reason?! I already tried connecting with no active firewall, no vpn, directly to my modem, hotspot, literally everything possible as stated above. It's time for you to do some troubleshooting on your end and earn the ridiculous amount of money you have blackmailed out of us over the years.

  • You do realize if the hot fix was the cause of the issue there would be many many more people not able to connect? Best thing to do would be run a network test and post your results for upload and download speeds, ping, jitter, and packet loss.

    Dude ive been having major issues with the game since the 4th of jan maintenance, constant crashes to desktop, broccoli error codes, i couldnt even load into the edz Uninstalled and reinstalled the game today, was able to load into the edz for literally 10 seconds, shot one dreg and crashed. Every other game i have works fine with zero issue, so dont listen to bungo6 there its a problem on Bungos end and they need to adress it and fix it... I havent baught the witch queen and 30yr dlc to not be able play it.

    Its so strange..Its like theres been hardly any issues with the game from users including myself with d2..and then since the recent maintenance, its almost like theres flood of people having crashing issues, and error codes up the -blam!-. Its cray cray.

    Not sure if it will help you or anyone else, but here's how I fixed what they broke. I left event viewer open when launching the game and read up on the application errors the game was throwing when trying to load a destination. Turns out, their hotfix broke the dcom launch permissions for the AppServiceContainerBroker, which is what gamepass uses to run games for DRM bs reasons. Without the proper permissions the game could not launch a com server to load me into a destination, failing every time and throwing their completely generic and useless currant error code, when in reality it wasn't a networking issue at all. Oh, and those permissions are locked down so tight that even the system account cannot change them. So yeah, bungie broke all my game pass games with their hotfix, forcing me to literally reinstall windows as my only remaining option. Hopefully none of you have to go that far, but at least check the event viewer to see what they broke on your system! All of this I had to do myself, since, instead of creating a useful support environment with all of the money they've taken from us over the years, we're stuck begging for help on a forum where their only presence are bots posting useless links, and a few trolls here to make fun of people needing help in the first place.

    Where in event viewer exactly did you find this event/error/warning.. im trying to load into the EDZ now and my ship is just flying over the clouds...and as im typing this the game just froze and crashed on me...brilliant.

  • Veg, you should see a general description of the errors below the list at the top. What does it say your faulting module is for that error? That should give you a place to start hunting down the string of errors.

    Think im gonna bite the bullet and reinstall windows..if this doesnt fix the issue then its a 100% bungie had broken the game for a small aount of its playerbase..wish me luck

    To be fair most my games and files are stored on my D drive so ill only have to reinstall the basic stuff on my C drive and try and remember all those quality of life apps and tweaks lol.. but thanks man.. ill report back after ive reset and tried d2 again.

    Might want to back up documents folder, and check your appdata locallow and roaming folders hidden inside your user folder for any game saves as well, incase you don't have cloud saves on everything. I also took screenshots of my installed programs list so I didn't miss anything. I use a program called patchmypc to download a lot of the basic stuff, could save you some time.

    Cheers dude, i didnt have any saves i completed all my games and havent started anythint new this so its no biggie, just really need the basic stuff, anti virus, my vpn back steam ect ect.. lets hope this works man in the "resetting this pc screen 8%" screen. Cheers for all the help anyways.. better help than bungie, cant even be bothered pay someone to scroll the fourms and help people with their -blam!- ups..

    Well windows failed to install..im lucky i had a copy of windows 10 on a usb stick..reinstalled windows..some basic stuff and i managed to load into the EDZ without crashing..ran around for a good 10 minuets and everything seems ok. Ill report back if i get a crash but so far so good
