as opposed to what? 1k can also kill you, and it's in the heavy slot with 1/2 to 1/3 of the ammo capacity. If you don't like it, use a faster charging one, like Null Composure. Not all fusions are going to be perfect just because you, me, or anyone else want it to be. Comparing charge times is like comparing RPM between a weapon in the heavy slot vs energy - they have two different functions

  • While I understand that comparing High Impact FRs with an exotic heavy isn't fair, let me tell you that high impact FRs are worse than 460 FRs in every single aspect. That should not be the case. Since you really like to bring up Null Composure, please give us ONE, like literally single reason for using Glacioclasm over Null Composure. Both are void FRs, except Glacioclasm does - - barely more damage per shot(thanks to having 5 bolts vs 8 in 460s) - is harder to control and so the bare minimum increase in range doesn't exactly matter - takes more than double the time to charge - does only 2/3rd the DPS of a 460s I understand that not every weapon archetype is supposed to be good at every aspect, but it needs to be good at at-least one. Right now, 1000 FRs are bad at everything.

  • Shouldnt a weapon that does way more damage and has 1/2 the ammo take MORE time to charge than a weapon that does less damage and 2x the reserves?🤔 Using 1k or Leviathan as a comparison is just an exaggerated way of conveying how crazy -blam!- slow these things charge now.

  • you'd think so, but 1k was already given a disadvantage where you have to be careful with it. The advantage of Null Composure is it's speed (and reservoir burst). You add that same speed to a high impact frame, it'll be too OP. Example, high impact or precision based weapons have a slower fire rate, but the reward is that it does more damage. SG's and snipers are a prime example

  • Stop bringing up null composure. Nothing here has to do with it, and where did I say high impacts should have a 460 charge time lmao. My point is just that the original 860 charge time wouldn’t be op and that 1000 is way too slow.

  • You say "stop" bringing it up like I've made it the all purpose weapon - it's the most recent example since it's popular, it's fast firing, and not very strong, per say. 1000 being slow is all perception. I never have an issue with it, and if I want a faster firing fusion, I'll just use a faster firing one. Don't need high impact. Complaining will do nothing. As in life, you work with the cards you are dealt

  • Just because you don't have an issue with it doesn't mean other people don't. Your experience has no bearing especially since most of the community agrees that the charge time is too damn long. It makes no sense for my main ingredient to have a faster charge time and more range than a high impact. If anything it should have a faster charge time and that's it. Bungie didn't to nerf high impacts.
