And yet another coin the bucket to why PvP in a looter-shooter, MMO is a terrible idea. Everything getting balanced to cater to multiplayer backfires in every other avenue (never mind the fact that 'tuning' in Bungie's eyes means tanking a weapon into the ground, making it utterly useless).

Is it? Because having an entire archetype of a weapon completely useless when comes to DPS seems like a PvE problem to me.

PvP is totally fine. Extreme balancing around it that affects the rest of the game is where the problem is. If they could just have the sandboxes be totally separated we wouldn’t have these issues. I could not possibly care less if guns/abilities feel different between the two modes as long as it means that PvE isn’t taking unnecessary hits.
