So it doesn’t show on your character screen where your other buffs (i.e. shared wisdom, prime attunement, etc) are?

No buffs. Had to get a friend on to go kill the Fallen mob to drop the scanner for me. Otherwise the Fallen is immune. It allowed me to pick up the 3x buff and kill the drones.

Then that means you were doing something wrong. If you don’t have the buff, then you can’t pick up the 3x scanner item. So you obviously had the buff initially.

Yeah I said it disappeared the moment I bought it off Variks. When I closed his inventory I had no buffs, I thought it may just not be showing on my UI but I wasn't able to damage the Vandal.

Again, that’s impossible if you were still able to pick up the scanner drop.

All mobs were cleared, Vandal was just running around the plains while invisible. So unless my UI was bugged and the Vandal's servitors were also invisible or under the map I got no explanation.

I feel you are just a bit inexperienced in how this works. Next time you think it bugs, get a video showing you buy the transponder & not get the buff & can’t kill the vandal even after clearing the mobs.

My friend was able to come kill it immediately when he arrived. Perhaps just a bungo moment.
