Saying enough is enough is part of the solution. I'll stick with climate change because you're mentioning it above. When I say, "enough is enough" I'm referring to the current trend of constantly preaching and dividing and shaming as if that's actually going to solve anything. It doesn't. It's not even a debate. It's been over 40+ years and we are still presented with the same, or worse "science" that tells us we need to give money to the government to solve this problem. How much money has gone towards "research" for alternative fuel vehicles? Hydrogen fuel cells? Corn based fuel (come on)? I'll wait.... OK. Now, how many production vehicles are on the road right now as a result of that? How many models does GM/Toyota/Mitsubishi/BMW/Anyone make with HFCs? How many with corn fuel? So for alllllllllllll the money we spent there isn't one? Not one production HFC vehicle? Nothing? Nobody?
Fast forward to 2006 when Elon Musk published his "Secret Telsa Motor Master Plan" (look it up) where he invested (GASP) HIS OWN MONEY into the private sector. Since that time he's produced the Roadster (2008), the Model S, the Model X, the Model 3 and the Model Y. Literally hundreds of thousands of production vehicles out there all over the world thanks to the FREE market. PS: He invested between $60 to $80 million dollars of his own money. The government spent literally billions upon billions of dollars with ZERO oversight, ZERO accountability and ZERO results. I paid more for my Model X than my parents did for the house I grew up in... and you can fact check that all day long.
So yes, we 100% agree on the issues. We just don't agree with the solutions :D
