Respecting people, and having an understanding that this is not political. That's like saying accepting someone who is of different nationality or ethnicity is political. It's basic human rights for people. Are you effected by someone who is different? no. Are you harmed by bungie accepting that not everyone is born to an outdated identification system? No. It's simply them saying "Love thy neighbor". To accept people that have finally been able to be themselves.

It’s social issue statements being put into the game. I personally want none in my gamers. It could be X group matters or X group doesn’t matter. Either view point has no place in games IMO. But that’s just me

Why don't you? By your standards they already put "social issues" in the game. The most bad -blam!- titan, was ripped out of time by his lover Osiris. Heads up, they are gay. *gasps* Omg a none conforming straight white idea? In my game? Oh no you didn't. To the forums with my boomer bigotry! Hitting a single button to remove it from your screen to much to ask? Man, I can't imagine sitting next to you watching YouTube. 5 seconds of rage waiting for skip to appear so you can see Aztecross scream "heeyaaa".

Edited by Erk Grr: 12/16/2021 4:46:52 PMLol what are you in about. I loved the osiris x saint stuff. It was set up and founded in the lore. There were hints at it before it just came out. It was awesome and adds depth because it had foundation. My issue comes in terms of virtue signalling. Saint and osiris were not that in any way and it was an in game relationship with foundation and logic. It was not a company posting “scooby doo is pan -blam!- and always was” because that seems to have little foundation and appears to be virtue signalling. Nothing against people loving who or how they want to. Adding a splash pop up or emblem is not in the confounds of the game nor has any merit or bearing on the game or it’s world. Hence why I take issue with it as i see it as virtue signalling. Edit: To be clear I agree with the messages being shown and promoted by bungie but that doesn’t mean I want them in my games or being thrown at me.

Well if they would just say "Love Thy Neighbor" then everyone would be covered. But they didn't. Why? Corporate grandstanding. That's all this is. Bungie doesn't give a rat's azz about anyone but themselves.

If you want to be purposely obtuse, but trans people continue to be discriminated against and so it is critical that they are given visible support.
