The fact that it has not been touched/nerfed since release is justification enough. Things need to change just like the abilities did. We'll see if Bungie pulls the trigger. I know this is completely unrelated and unnecessary, but I get the feeling people would outright quit if they get nerfed hard... Idk... I just get that vibe from y'all lol.
