Bungie is recognizing a marginalized group of people who exist, and that some of those people are being killed by people who hate them. They're using their platform to recognize an issue and bring awareness to it, which they have every right to do. Recognizing problems and spreading awareness to try to help those who need it isn't political, nor is it political because it doesn't affect you or you may disagree with it.
