Not a solution for accessibility, but a good change as we continue moving forward with improving those features. Thanks for the thread! Will pass the thanks along to the team.

I was more excited for this sole feature above EVERYTHING else, TY TY 👏🏻🤩
-
I think the next question is “What change is going to be made to the vigilance wing catalyst?”. with the full auto now available on legendary pulse rifles nobody needs it on the wing.
-
It won't work on my gl what gives lol

Edited by Demon_XXVII: 12/10/2021 8:53:54 AMIt should just be in the settings Or an additional toggle on/off of mod slot on the weapon types that can use it Messenger needs Counterbalance And some weapons that have Fully Auto as a perk (Darkest, Lonesome, Punching Out etc) Need to have an alternative perk as replacement (I’ll take Killing Wind on the Darkest Before) Edit: Have Bungie removed the Punching Out sidearm? I’ve had two godly rolls & they’ve disappeared since the update

It's getting added to settings in witch queen this is a temporary fix until then.
-
Can the team look at changing this feature to a toggle in Gameplay menu instead. You clearly stated in a previous update that this was an accessibility issue. Making it a mod instead is not making that accessible. You're making those of us that do have hand issues, choose between a previously useful mod or this and given we can't equip it on exotics or early Destiny weapons, it kind of fails the point of being accessible.

The mod is a temp fix, it's getting added to the settings menu in witch queen.

How do you know?

Edited by Canadia: 12/11/2021 1:17:24 AMMy bad season after witch queen I know what's coming from reading the twab each week "Full Auto Retrofit - We've seen plenty of requests for an accessibility option allowing full auto fire, particularly on fast-firing semiautomatic weapons. We have a settings option in the works for a season after The Witch Queen launches but decided to put in a stopgap to help players until we are able to ship it. Please keep these types of suggestions coming! Added a Full Auto Retrofit weapon mod that enables full auto while the trigger is held, usable on Legendary Hand Cannons, Sidearms, Scout Rifles and Pulse Rifles. This is unlocked by default for all players. " https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/50820 scroll down to the mods section

Thank you.

As someone who struggles with arthritis in their hands, this is a major step forward. Thank you
-
It would be good to consider the impact it has on mod selection for those with an impairment. Full auto over Icarus grip for example. Can the feature be moved to a options toggle in the future as opposed to a mod. Thanks
-
They said the mod was temporary until witch queen where it's getting added to the settings menu.
-
Also the problem is that it would just always be toggled on right? People would want to abuse that feature, so every weapon in d2 would realistically be full auto. It's not really fair, but I think if they made versions of the mod that gave you icarus, or impact, or targeting adjuster, at a reduced percentage than the actual mod, that would be an effective way to add it for people who need it; while also keeping people from abusing it for their own selfish reasons.
-
Please quit it. It is a very good MOD..............I just knew someone would say stuff like you did. "Not fair".............................waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa..................
-
With the introduction they have already stated it is a stop gap measure until they create a menu option or something for it.
-
Thanks dmg and tell the team good job
-
Is there a reason smg’s can’t get it! I’ve been tapping the trigger since they came out but I seem to get outgunned all the time from other smg users?
-
Is this a joke post because smgs are already automatic/full auto so don’t need the mod
-
The sky is red!
-
Not to be the person who’s like “but what about…”(not trying to sound unsatisfied by a positive change, just curious) But will the full auto perk be going away/changing with this implementation? Just wondering if these options and the perk will coexist somehow.
-
Not sure if it's the case for all weapons but on shotguns it gives an unlisted 5% fire rate increase.

what’s up dmg
