  • it was designed to be also agame for the "lone wolf" playstyle.. bungie just looks like it ghosted its solo player since they have "solo player" like Esoterikk in mind, you know people who solo flawlessly the new dungeon day 1

    I already solo flawlessed the new dungeon too. Lol they made the new dungeon extremely solo player friendly. And also you completely made up "Bungie designed the game with lone wolf style in mind too" or whatever you said that you def made up on the spot just now lmao. Bungie has ALWAYS very bluntly stated Destiny 2 is a social game from the very beginning.

    I keep saying this too. All the promotional material shows at least two guardians, but mostly three and often six. How can solo players see all the -blam!- around this game and get mad when Bungie doesnt make every activity soloable.

My clan stopped playing, I'm supposed to replace them? If the game was truly that good, they'd still be playing, even intermittently, coordinated activities like raids and dungeons. But they're not. So effectively, this proves the game sucks as a multiplayer experience. Hence, there are many solo players wanting solo focused activities. I don't care either way, just connecting the dots.

  • The reason people quit is because they charge $80-100 for a year of lackluster repetitive content that just funnels you back into crucible, gambit bs. And if you don't play when content is current, you are left behind. Major major Fomo in this game. I never recommend it to any new players. They've done a terrible job, this game could've been great.

  • You are not left behind. The hearing progress is extremely horizontal in Destiny. I came back after 2 years of not playing the game, it was in the middle of the season and I reached max powerlevel within 3 weeks. MMOs usually have a vertical progression system where you really have no chance to follow up when you missed something.

  • “This very specific group of people stopped playing therefore game bad, ignore all the players that kept playing pls.” Dungeons can be done solo, each dungeon is designed to also be doable solo. I understand the frustration, but taking the time to do a high end activity and then complaining about not taking time to put in some effort to find people to do it with, seems like solos want the rewards without the work. (And finding fireteams takes like 1 minute)

    Why do I need to keep replacing fireteam members whenever I want to play a game? If it's so awesome why are people never logging back in anymore? To be clear, the rewards in destiny [i]suck[/i]. I pretty much ignore random rolls and rewards entirely and just focus on gunplay.

    So if the loot sucks why care about doing a dungeon then? Why care about doing the raid? Is it to experience them? Because then there is no incentive to add matchmaking. I understand people saying it’s gatekeeping content (even though it isn’t) but if you don’t care about the loot, ESPECIALLY for a dungeon then you don’t need matchmaking for it. “And the game is so bad, in fact the loot is so HORRIBLE that I haven’t cared about it in 5 years. I have OBVIOUSLY kept playing because I want to complain /s”

  • I'd like to experience the activities. That's hard to do with random groups needing a fifth, I've done it, it's very annoying. And yes, the loot absolutely sucks, it is always changed. I play for the fps portion of whatever the rest of the game is supposed to be.

  • I am playing for years and still receive new guns regularly that absolutely amuse me. No clue why your loot is bad but I don’t have that problem.

  • “Loot is trash” is an objective statement made from a subjective view point. For me the loot is good. Random Perks where some are more desirable than other, a lot of guns are useful/worth grinding for. Now these are based on how I feel, those are objective ratings made from a subjective bias. Proof would be: Damage Perks and reload perks are good for PvE there are different types of both on different weapons perkpool is diverse and offers a lot of building. Different weapons are useful: Handcannons: Fatebringer, Eyasluna, True Prophecy, ,Servant Leader, Hung Jury, Nightwatch etc. These are some reasons why I think it’s good. Some reason as to why some is bad: Demotivating RNG, especially for Gambit and Crucible weapons it takes way to long to get 1 roll of what you want. Reissued loot, but mostly when it has worse perks than before. You can tell me why you think they’re trash, you haven’t so far. People leaving the game: Again the game is in fact as you state so bad that basically everyone is leaving. People quit/take breaks from games all the time. Yes, Destiny is an ongoing game but that doesn’t mean that all of a sudden everyone stays engaged. WoW, ESO, Rainbow Six Siege, etc. have CHANGING player bases aka some leave some stay. You are in the unlucky position where everyone left you and now that act has made you bitter as to the rest of the destiny environment (at least that’s what it sounds like to me). So yes, some aspects are bad, but please tell me exactly what you mean by that.

  • Notice the quit. And I’m still waiting for you’re points. I wanna hear them, it is interesting to see more about why people think loot is bad. There are a lot of bad aspects to the game don’t get me wrong, but they don’t destroy my enjoyment but seem to damage yours. So I wanna know why?

  • Because the abilities of the loot change after you earn them. The game can never be left alone, must tinker. I haven't played in a month. I guarantee I have to relearn all of my gear because I haven't followed all the changes that were made. I'm over it. You enjoy relearning your earned gear eleventy times over, I do not. The loot sucks. Stripped down to its basic function, destiny is a fps that I can play f2p. That's it. Something to do. Rainy day. Never gain will I be excited for something Destiny.

  • And those a fair points. It doesn’t feel that way to me, I don’t have to “re-learn” anything, I don’t look at it that way. I like to think that I adapt to different guns, and that I actually get to give all my old and new guns a chance.
