It's a small thing to simply acknowledge a community of people that have been marginalized and excluded for so long. This is not inherently political. It is cultural acceptance. I wish we would live and let live rather than codify culture.

For so long? That have existed for no more than 20-30 years at much. What do you mean so long? There's literally politicians and actors and musicians who not only support them but practice that. They're not and have never been marginalized. The health secretary is a T. So marginalized they're in the actual federal government.... Lmao. It's just politics. Politicians and activists use that a a campaign running point. Just look at the news. It is a political movement.
