Worthless reply. We don't play the game on the site, OPTIONAL matchmaking should be an in-game feature.
You’re on the site right now. Access to the lfg isn’t an issue.

LOL, really? Is that your reasoning? That's what I call missing the point completely!

The point is that players want those activities to have matchmaking IN_GAME! At least start to pay attention to the thread.

And we’ve already covered that you have access to that.

CONCLUSION: LFG is the way to go. IN-GAME MATCHMAKING would never work. I really like your reasoning, very logical and solid. Congratulations!

Let’s look at trials. Who has a higher win rate, an lfg team or a matchmade team?

Edited by CookieNiki: 12/8/2021 4:22:48 PM
Matchmaking and lfg are completely different.
They're exactly the same = a team made with randoms that never played together. And this is an indisputable fact, like it or not.

What question? The Trials one? How's that relevant for PvE activities, which is what is in the discussion here? Also I don't even know what an "off team" means, in the first place, I'm not a PvP player.

I already said I don't PvP and I don't know what an "off team" is.
I already said I don't PvP and I don't know what an "off team" is.
I already fixed the typo. Go ahead and answer the question.

Edited by CookieNiki: 12/8/2021 4:31:29 PMI can't answer your question because I don't play PvP (which I already stated TWICE), which means I have no clue what the win rate is for each of the situations you mention. That said, even if LFG has a higher win rate (as you say it has) it also means that MM ALSO has a win rate, which means it works and it's a viable option for those that want to use it.

Only which one is higher matters. In pvp, regardless of if you lose or not, you complete the match. That’s not how pve works though. Losing in pve is failing the activity. It doesn’t end and you get nothing. Do you know why lfg has a higher win rate than matchmade teams?
Because "Must have 2.0kd, will be checking"?
That may play a small role, but communication is what truly separates it.

cool, and now put it INTO the game ?
cool, and now put it INTO the game ?
Agreed, and rumor is that it’s being worked on.
