Cool Guy recently did a video on why Stompees should get a nerf.
Hopefully Bungie will do something about them. Because as of now, there are no reasons for jumpy boys to use anything else.

Technically Titans have the best movement when looking a the speed dunemarchers gives and the titan skating.

Warlocks have by far the best movement in the game hands down no question not hunter. Plus warlocks have ophidians and top tree dawn on to of this insane movement https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7bAwJi1z-K0 along with a rift as well for instant health

Requires an entire subclass. We can't stick icarus dash on any subclass. It actually has to take up a stop in our tree, or are we ignoring that? What you're saying is every warlock should play the exact same subclass to keep up with a hunter on any subclass. Ok lol.

The video isn’t even of top tree dawn blade it’s any class of warlock… the video shows how warlock is by far the fastest class in the game hands down… miles above hunter. Top tree dawn blade just makes it that much better. To the point no other class or subclass can even come close to comparing. Then let’s talk about how transverse’s steps literally have more perks than stompees. Not only do transverse steps increase sprint speed, increase slide speed and improve jump ( that’s all that stompees do ) but transverse steps also improve crouch speed and have infinite auto reload. Hunters and stompees don’t even compare. They’re not even in the same conversation nothing is. Then you still add a 5 second cool down on dodge for dawn blade and you add a rift on top of that as well. Yeah it’s not even comparable.

Have the best movement in the game? No they may be the "fastest" in a single direction but thats not movement at all. Not that i expect you to understand

Dude a warlock can literally fly so fast it can kill itself just with its momentum. No other class can even come close to that kind of speed… not only that but they can also flip directions on a dime with icarus dash every 5 seconds. That’s literally3.5 time’s faster than the hunter can dodge. Plus warlocks still have transverse’s as well… they increase sprint speed, increase crouch speed, increase slide distance, enhance jump and still auto reload. They literally do more than stompees… on a class that’s way faster and has a dodge on a 5 second cool down… on top of a rift for instant health for you and teammates…. But to you somehow, hunter …. Hunter to you…. is supposedly better… what have you been taking and where can I get some?

You guys really dont read anything i post but put out walls of texts on my replies its insane. Warlocks can move fast in one direction yes welcome to the conversation we have been over this. One direction is not mobility. Icarus dash also got nerfed because it was too potent and once again bungie stated with that nerf that stompees were on their radar too. Mobility as a whole is getting nerfef welcome to the party

So nerf sprint speed for warlocks, along with the insane skate they have add 15 seconds to icarus dash’s cool down. Nerf the same thing on titans with dune marchers nerf the shoulder charge distance as well, and make shoulder charge take the melee charge away even When you hiss hitting someone ( so it can’t be spammed for movement). Then you guys can keep coming after the hunter because at the moment hunter is by far the slowest class in the game after the dodge nerf and now you guys want stompees too… seriously come on. We might as well all just go back to boots on the ground at this point. No movement at all. Remember how bad this game was before the go fast update. All you’re doing is advocating for the game to go back to that. And if it does, I guarantee there will be a mass exodus of the game all over again.

Comparing icarus dash and SC to stompees is once again not the argument to make because youre comparing straight line speed to mobility as a whole and this is what you dont seem to understand. Also this whole argument of "hunters are the slowest class" is the easiest way to tell someone is too low skilled to understand this conversation no offense.

But isn’t that the point of the hunter to have better mobility? Pretty sure that’s the whole hunter style of abilities is their movement. So what your saying is to make every class the same. So hunters should be able to do the same things that titans and warlocks do as well. 🤔

Hunters are supposed to have good mobility yes. Stompees takes the good mobility and cranks it to the point that no other class can compete. That's the issue and clearly bungie and alot of prominent destiny players agree

That’s because I deleted and started my warlock and titan from scratch this season to change the genders and appearance my hunters been here always… 2k hours is my total time on hunter from the start of the game… nice try though

You have 3 deleted characters one had 549 hours which is still less than half of what your hunter has the other two have like 50 hours Dont nice try me man literally all this stuff is easy to see

No, not even close to being correct. Warlocks might have an edge with speed, but most definitely not for mobility. Hunters are on a different lvl than the others character classes. Ppl still confusing those two, it seems. And yes, top tree Dawnblade has icarus, but one subclass does not represent the whole character class. Hunters mobility advantage can be utilized on all 10 of its subclasses. And with the Stomps, that advantage is insanely elevated. Good try tho.

As of now there is no reason for any class to use more than 2 exotics. OEM and Dunes for Titans Dragons Shadow and Stompees for hunters Transverse and Ophidian for warlocks Nerf one movement exotic means you gotta nerf em all… Stop killing exotics and abilities just cause ya aren’t good at pvp… please…
