Hunters movement is already the best in the game without stompees and all stompees do is amplify the already cracked movement of the hunters and puts the movement of the class way higher than the other classes FOR FREE. Destiny 2 is a movement game and no other class does it better than hunters with stompees, they have gone without a nerf the entire time and stompees are the only exotic that you see on hunters and for good reason. If you disagree then that means you probably haven’t taken them off in years and forgot what movement was like without them. Also hunters have extremely good exotics that see no use because stompees exist and require zero thought to use because they have 100% up time on your movement with no activation from anything.

Very weird you call hunter movement the best, Even though warlocks are the fastest, and Titans have lion ramparts too do everything better then a hunter. But I’m also guessing you don’t know how too look up? Like that space above the ground, you ever look there? If a hunter is up there, He has like three negative values on his shotgun. You standing on the ground have… 0. You can kill him, if you knew how too aim. Also, Hunters have the best movement, sure. Just for now, I’ll give you that. But what about abilities? Supers, how are those? Blade barrage is Nova bomb but worse in ever way, Nightstalker is just a titan suppression nade with extra steps, Arc strider still has the quality of being a melee super so it blanks, and wife’s half the time, and golden gun… The only super in the entire game, with no armor, or damage resistance. Let’s have a whole paragraph for dodging too!! So, a dodge, a fourteen second cool down for a class ability, good so far. Is it faster? No. Blocks nades? Not anymore. Is it useful at all really? Not really. It can regenerate your melee! But unless you’re using smoke grenades, or the top tree golden gun knife, it doesn’t matter if we have our melee, cause it’ll whiff. But Warlocks? Thirty second cool down five meter radius of free healing, and an OV. Or what about empowerment rift? Turning 120’s into two taps cause you pressed one button, or high impact snipers too a one body, or turn a fission into a sniper! Titans? Block an entire lane, super, grenades, melee, anything for a few seconds every time you place it! Weird that a dodge that doesn’t break aim assist, or grenades that doesn’t go any faster then normal sprint is thought of as some god movement. Anyways. Shut up. Hunters aren’t broken, You’re just not great at the game.

But this is a mobility game right? Obviously the mobility character will be the best by a long shot in pvp. Anyone that plays this game will tell you 80% of players in crucible are hunters and the majority of those hunters use stompees. I don’t have the exact numbers but you all know this is the case. I promise the hunters don’t chose stompees just because they feel like it, they use them because they are the best

It’s going to be the end of the world for you when they inevitably nerf these. You and I both know deep down that these are the best option the only difference is that I’m not lying to myself. To be honest I feel like I’m scrutinized by this community because I’m not a hunter main, when ever warlocks and titans have something good that everyone uses it’ll get nerfed VERY fast. Stompees have been number 1 since they came out and they weren’t even touched, hell, I’d say they were indirectly buffed due to the big ability changes.
