People get mad about spending 30 bucks on entertainment, I bet they're the ones that are ok with 35$ overdraft fees lol.

Not everyone can drop a thousand usd for one meal. Even if I was rich (currently upper middle class) we don't go spending that much on one meal. Plus I'm pretty sure you have your own home theater with the type of money you're spending. So why go to the theater when you can just use HBO (assuming they have that in Europe) or some other streaming service that streams movies.

Edited by Demon_XXVII: 12/8/2021 12:57:05 PMPounds Sterling buddy I don’t do it every week (I’m happy with beans on toast or a bacon/egg banjo), but if I’m host, then I’m paying …it’s how I/my family was raised (I served for 20+ years, multiple tours, & a huge VBIED that nearly ended my life/rehab to rebuild myself (luckily I planned ahead, pensions, investment, paid my mortgage early, found a repurpose of my direction/capabilities/business building/employing people etc) And whilst I have a 4K HDR10+/7.1/Dolby Vision Atmos installation coming soon with a home refurb I have the media/cable/fibre to stream etc Sometimes it’s nice to see a film in a cinema (some films are made to pop on cinema screens)

Americans can’t understand that because most of us go out to eat 3 to 5 times a week. 😂

Edited by Tobey, Devourer of Litter: 12/8/2021 6:49:46 AMThey’re just broke children. Obviously none of them have seen the cost of taking 6+ people to a 2 hour movie. Or they are mad they can’t buy it with EBT since they don’t work.

Yeah, that’s what being “social” and doing things was like back in the days. You had more than two friends? Tell your wallet to brace itself.
