You know you use stompees alot for someone who doesnt think theyre busted. Also for someone who thinks that warlocks/titans can compete yet you have more time on your hunter than your warlock and titan put together. Crazy

The other hunter exotics are so bad, that’s why stompees are the only good option rn, especially when ophids (which is the best exotic in the game) sythoceps, dunes, transversive, one eyed mask, and karnstein are in the game.

While i disagree that hunters dont have good exotics this is probably the closest to an actual counter argument that ive seen. Ophids are definitely S tier but dragons shadow is right there with it. Wormhusk is great not sure about frostees anymore. But the issue is that stompees are so over tuned everything else feels like bad compared and I completely feel that myself. Honestly the nerf on stomps doesn't even have to be extreme the simplest nerf to it is to remove its benefit to strafe jump as thats really the issue with stompees imo

Wormhusk and dragon shadow were both basically nerfed with the dodge nerf. I think if bungo were to nerf stompees they’d have [u]A.[/u] buff the base hunter jump. [u]B.[/u] buff other exotics or present new ones that aren’t tied to abilities and dodge. Perhaps one that gives you melee range like synthos.

I dont really agree with buffing base hunter jump unless they go overboard on stompees. Dragons shadow and wormhusk having a 2sec longer cd on the reload dodge isnt the end of the world imo. As I said my goal here isnt to make stompees useless. Literally just remove the bonus to strafe jump as thats what makes it an insane exotic to me.

That’s understandable But again stompees isn’t just the best option, it’s the only option. So generally there are good alternatives but compared to the variety of options the other classes have, the hunter is limited. Dragon shadow is a boost to handling & reloads ur guns, wormhusk is banned in scrims and tournaments and I hate it bc I think it’s annoying imo. So if you had to have a list of exotics that aren’t dependent on a cool down and can operate without a dodge or ability regen. Liars handshake (AC/D feedback fense for titan) which is decent but not good, also banned in tournaments. Also what’s the point of meleeing when the focus is “primary gunplay” Foetracer is pretty good but in comparison to OEM and when other exotics are option there isn’t a reason to run it. Lucky pants which is better, I do see it as a good alternative and is basically peacekeepers for hcs but worse bc there is no movement benefits. That’s kind of it for non-dependent exotics for hunters that are good. So I say to give hunters more motive to run different exotics, literally buff the bad ones if not the decent ones.

Dragons shadow also massively boosts mobility and your speed. Imo dragons shadow is a great exotic that is hardly used because when it comes to a mobility exotic stompees feels like a no brainer

The argument at hand is that hunters have too much mobility and stompees cranks that to 1000. Your argument that warlocks can go fast in one direction holds no bars here. Same with titan. Mobility doesnt mean going from point a to point b the fastest. Also I was just referring to your recent matches has beem primarily stompees. Cute though really

You don't get kills with stompees so no tracker site is getting that info...you're dead wrong btw, my recent games are mostly pve where I do love using stompees however EVERY game of pvp in the past few months I've been rocking shinobus - including the "recent matches" you apparently looked up. I have zero dog in this race with regard to pvp. Stompees aren't close to op, lets not pretend if they get hit icarus, transversives and one eyed mask aren't next on the chopping block. Literally up to warlocks/titans if we go that route 🤷♂️

You can get angry over that statement all you want but what you just said tells me you don't understand what you're talking about. Also as for saying icarus and transversive will get nerfed this actually already happened with icarus and during that same time they also mentioned how theyre tuning down mobility as a whole and how stompees were on their radar they were just thinking of how to properly nerf them before they did anything. To pretend that stompees are not the meta option is actual lunacy

I think we both know how you'd react if stompees got hit and then icarus dash or transversives ended up on the chopping block too, to think stompees will be nerfed but the fastest movement option + an exotic that gives extra speed and reloads your guns won't is delusion.

And as for icarus being the fastest movement option- it already got nerfed and once again their reasoning for nerfing it was because theyre nerfing mobility at the top levels and thats also why they said they were nerfing stompees. I stopped playing destiny during forsaken and didnt come back unstil s13 that should be fairly easy to look up. Youre the one who said you have better stats than me in every facet of the game yet have lower in trials? But dont worry i looked you up out of respect and much to my disappointment this season my control iron banner and survival stats are all higher than yours. And i was like wow this cant be true announcers is a God right so i looked at s14 and wow again control survival and even trials that season i was better than you again. Thats crazy man
