Yes, Bungie is a private organization that can do what they wish, but why did you personally want it to get blocked? Is it because it violated Bungies Code of Conduct? If that's the case, ask yourself why Bungie is breaking their own CoC by bringing in political issues into their game. The fact that YOU want this post to be banned is telling of how you desire to act with people in the real world. It is one point of view to say that Bungie is able to say whatever they want, it is a completely different point of view to want someone's voice to be silenced on the forums for disagreeing.

I recommend you try to learn it. Bungie has every right to promote causes they believe in because it's their game, first and foremost. It's absolutely mind boggling how many people are asking for Bungie to be silent on their causes while also decrying free speech and not wanting to be silenced on them giving bungie the metaphorical finger. You MUST see the hypocrisy here, right? The post deserves to be locked for the same reason the rule exists: these types of threads are ultra toxic nightmares for the majority of people to deal with. If politics were something that was always handled with respect by every party, that would be one thing. But that's almost never the case online. Bungie has the moral (and legal) right to promote and support causes they believe in. Them supporting these causes is not a reflection of the intent of the "no politics" rule on the forums.

The hypocrisy is only coming from you. You say this post should be locked because it breaks the rules, yet, Bungie has a moral obligation to make posts that break their own rules. That is the definition of hypocrisy my guy. Bungie has every right to say whatever they want, but you wanting this post locked says a lot about you as a person.

and Bungie should focus on their game. It's one thing if they want to have charities and other initiatives as a company, but no one buys a video game wanting to see messages like that. We play video games to get away from political issues, just let us be Guardians and shoot some -blam!-.
