Ah yes, as if paying for content is vile and stupid.
So, do they decrease the value of the content by making all of it free? Or, do they increase the value by making unique weapon models and armor sets for the paid content?

There should be an option to buy only the Dungeon for 10 bucks...because future dungeons will be 10 bucks. It's scummy and you know it. Asking people to pay more than twice the price of a Season like Chosen or Splicer but with less content.

This is a much better discussion, and honestly I agree that there should be a way to get the Dungeon separately. It's definitely up to the player on the value of the content, and honestly I hate to say it but as I said above, I think there's too much stuff that was moved to the free part of the event which hurt its value.

The thing is, even if you add Dares of Eternity to the pack, that's still twice the cost of Season of Chosen but still less content. Chosen introduced Presage which is basically a Dungeon but far more cohesive and atmospheric, 3 different Battlegrounds, AND the season pass cosmetics all for 10 bucks. The pack is 25 bucks. It's a rotten deal and it saddens me.

I wouldn't quite compare the dungeons to Presage. While I love presage, only the final "encounter" gives loot and has less mechanics overall in design. What it lacks in complexity, it makes up for in atmosphere for sure. Comprable to a season, this definitely lacks in content. Its bundled with cosmetics to inflate the price and it's not something I like.

Maybe they'll realize how dumb of a decision it was and release it separately in January after they made alot of money off of it. Otherwise I can wait till February for weapon crafting, the Legendary Campaign, and yet another disappointing delve inside of a downed Pyramid.
