Are you also the kind of person that would buy a $20 map pack in COD? Granted, part of the high price tag is due to the cosmetics and was a strategic play by Bungie given they won't get revenue from a major DLC until next year, but with that said, there is a decent amount of content that dropped yesterday. On top of that, if you don't want to spend the money, play the free content. Dares of Eternity is a pretty decent activity and the new weapons are great.

You actually get a good amount for free. -The Halo Weapons -6 player activity -rank up system Tbh I was in it for the battle rifle and the magnum. I really don't care for Gjallarhorn that much. Eyasluna is a conflicting one for me. One Thousand Yard is a good sniper, but I'll settle for Adored, at least for now. Really don't care about the thorn armor set. Remember this is expansion content and it will not go away like seasonal content. It's staying probably until lightfall. I'll probably purchase it at some point. But no need to rush anything right now. If you're nervous about spending just purchase witch queen in February and then purchase the 30th down the road, they might discount it at some point.

You'll wind up spending $25 on a good restaurant meal, it's really not that much money. Even if some of the content isn't great, I'll get more enjoyment out of it than something like that.

Spend time with your family, friends, partner, take your dog out for a walk, watch TV. For me this event is ok. The 6 player activity is like any other. I never played Halo nor D1 so the weapons don't do it for me like they do others. Was hoping to be able to target farm for specific weapons for the rolls but doesn't look like we can. Will see what forum says after a week.

I'm gonna assume you are about 80 years old if a decade of entertainment is only this much content to you and in that case you probably won't live long enough to see the RoI either 🤣

For what they have charged the amount far exceeds the cost. Instead of going to watch a two hour movie with friends and have it cost almost $100 we can pay $10 each for months of content and time to play together. But to each their own, I know most of the people that complain here don’t touch grass nor have a job and know what other forms of entertainment/social interactment costs.

I did not complain about the price, I made fun of the person who stated that this content was a year worth of entertainment.
