What a ridiculous opinion this is. You are asserting malice in the actions of objection when it need not be malicious. Now maybe it is malicious, or maybe it’s a different opinion without malice, or maybe it’s fatigue of a topic, or any other number of possibilities that people can have for objecting to political banners without supporting prejudice and discrimination. Maybe it is multiple reasons amongst multiple different people because it’s not a one sized fits all circumstance. Maybe there is nuance to this topic.
To suggest the only reason people might object is because they silently don’t have a problem with people being the subject of prejudice and discrimination does nothing to further the conversation. You assume the worst, without evidence, and close yourself to dialogue with an absolutist stance. SMH.
