Hi there! Please follow the steps outlined below to provide an accurate system report. Please do not follow these steps while Destiny 2 is running. 1. Restart your machine. 2. When you log in, please click on the Windows icon on the lower left, then type dxdiag. If typed correctly, only one command should appear. Please click it. (If you need to enter the credentials of an administrator of the PC, please do so). 3. Allow the tool to run. A green bar should progress on the bottom portion of the window. If you receive any dialogue boxes as it progresses, please address them accordingly. 4. Once the tool is completed, please click on the "Save All Information" button. Save the resulting text file in an easy to find location, such as your Desktop. Then, close the tool. 5. Open the text file you just created and copy all of text to your clipboard by selecting all of it (Ctrl+A) and copying it (Ctrl +C OR rightclick and click Copy). Then, close the file. 6. Go to pastebin.com 7. In the text box below, paste all of the text in the box. 8. If you would like to make your system specs hidden, you can change the Paste Exposure to Unlisted. This will hide it from the Public section of the site but still allow people to view your Paste. Then, click the Create New Paste button. 9. Copy the resulting URL and reply back to this comment with the URL.

  • I’m not seeing anything referring to Destiny 2 crashing in your DxDiag report. How often is this occurring? When it happens, do you see a blue screen with a QR code on it?

  • It happens the instant I select my character and it brings me to a blue colored screen that says my PC ran into a problem and yes there is a QR code on the screen

  • Once you get to this screen, there will be a code on it. It should start with a 0x. Please write this code down and provide it.

I swear to god this computer is messing with me. The game didn't crash my PC on selecting my character this time but I haven't gotten my hopes up since there have been times when it didn't crash immediately but then after 20 min or so it crashes. I will update you when this happens. And if it doesn't then the only thing that I changed was running the game as administrator but I don't think that was the magic solution. It also takes it awhile to actually crash after I reinstall that game but in the end it does crash.

Yep I was right about 5 minutes after I said this my PC crashed and brought me to that screen. One question would this code you're talking about be within the lower half of the screen cause if so I'm screwed. Just wanted to clarify why I said this it's because when D2 crashes my PC and brings me to that blue screen the lower half of the screen is just completely broken. If its not in the lower half then there was no code. If the code you were talking about is called a stop code then I did see one however
