That's actually what I was thinking when I initially read it (I'm only about half a cup of coffee into the day though 😛). You know the little screen that pop up saying the Vanguard Rank is increased for the week or the one that pops up saying what is coming for Nightfall next week? Those are splash screens. I think I saw what the op was talking about but stuff like that gets clicked through pretty quick and rapidly forgotten about when I'm logging in.
