Gambit Engrams should only drop gambit weapons
If gambit engrams would only drop gambit weapons, making it plausible for people to be able to finally farm bottom dollar at a reasonable rate than more people would actually play gambit especially if there were other weapons that were worth seeking out.
Much like Saint 14 with trials weapons. You won’t get a large whirlpool from Saint 14 you only get trials weapons. I think more people would feel compelled to play Gambit if the system were the same, perhaps it should be that way for crucible and Vanguard especially in the future if there are worthy weapons that are particular to those playlist.

Edited by Demon_XXVII: 12/7/2021 5:21:22 PMThe loot chase needs to be targeted Gambit loot from Gambit (weapons & 60+ base stats on Gambit themed armour) The same specifics for QP Crucible, Vanguard Strikes etc Weapons & 65+ base stat Armour in Iron Banner/Comp/Trials/Master+ NF etc (Weapons having double perk choices) Also, DC/Moon/Europa weapons & armour from the relevant Dungeons, Lost Sectors/Blind Well/Astral/Ascendant Challenges/ etc - with 65+ base stats on Legend/Master lost sectors, empire/ nightmare hunts (adept+ difficulty) etc I also would prefer the single weapon loot in Nightfalls (the perk pool is swamped & there’s nothing worse than trying to get a Palindrome/Shadowprice/Plug 1/Hung Jury etc & ending up with a dreadful Swarm/Comedian/Uzume RR4/Hothead
