He/she/they is right, in the last US census, 0.56% of the population identified as transgender. It's an even smaller percentage of people that have actually transitioned out of that 0.56%. I'm not defending the op, I'm a trans man myself, but his post was factual.

Yeah, it's kinda surprising how low it is, but the percentage that identify as part of the LBGT+ community is only 5.6% so it makes more sense when looking at like that.
