Here comes the vet thing again. It’s nice that you felt the need to served your country. It’s honestly a shame that you were injured doing so. But the world isn’t America (assuming your American because it’s almost 100% Americans that get their back up about this) and Bungie has stated it’s an international country. Which is why it didn’t do a mention for a day that America itself celebrates. However, comparing something that you made a decision to go and do. Vs people who don’t and can’t make a decision about their own life due to fear of being ostracised from every facet of their lives due to ignorant, small minded people is very different. Those people need support in ways that can otherwise not be provided. Equality in life is very different than choosing to go fight in a war for your country and getting a stupid emblem for it. If it means that much to you. I’m sure COD and BF honour it.
