You’re right, the existence of a group of people is not inherently political. But the push for recognition is a political movement, involving marches, groups backed by political parties, identifying markers (flags) and lots and lots of money. The banners, ads and large corporations suddenly pouring efforts to show how much they support marginalized groups is politics. Reading your posts it would seem you’re too intelligent to not realize that. It being political isn’t good or bad, it just is. I don’t see a problem with a corporation showing support for a community. They aren’t slamming us with articles we’re forced to read or mandating we agree with them to enter a PVP match so I’m not bothered. A lot are though so maybe there’s a place for conversation? Just my thoughts on a conversation I wasn’t invited in to.
