Saint 14 is laughing a hardy Russian laugh at how pathetic this is. Everyone on here mad about showing support to other people is nuts. Political or not how could you have a single problem with a company and or person giving support to a group of people who have been dumped on since forever. If only all the people who think like that would stop gaming completely and let us have fun again that would rule.

  • Oh please, stop lecturing people with your sanctimonious drivel. We could be focused on Destiny but the annoying virtue-signalling Leftists don't want that. So here we are.

For my next lecture I think I’ll explain looking both ways before crossing the road. Maybe proper toilet techniques. Virtue signal leftist blah blah blah. All I am seeing is buzzwords and newspeak here.

How? Because they don’t see them getting dumped on as being a problem. So trying to shut Bungie up is a way of protecting that status quo without having to give direct support for it. It’s pretty obvious when you stand back and just watch the fireworks.

  • What a ridiculous opinion this is. You are asserting malice in the actions of objection when it need not be malicious. Now maybe it is malicious, or maybe it’s a different opinion without malice, or maybe it’s fatigue of a topic, or any other number of possibilities that people can have for objecting to political banners without supporting prejudice and discrimination. Maybe it is multiple reasons amongst multiple different people because it’s not a one sized fits all circumstance. Maybe there is nuance to this topic. To suggest the only reason people might object is because they silently don’t have a problem with people being the subject of prejudice and discrimination does nothing to further the conversation. You assume the worst, without evidence, and close yourself to dialogue with an absolutist stance. SMH.

  • Nope. I just don’t listen to what people say, and watch what they do instead. It’s far more revealing….and tends to be far more reliable.

  • Total chicken or the egg kinda thing. There is this perceived “they” strawman trans/black/whatever apply what they want to get butt hurt about. I dare each and every person in this thread with beef towards trans/black and find a person and have a real conversation with said person. I bet you will find they are just normal people and are not this shove it down your throat monster that is always moaned about. Not my cup of tea. But I’d flip some tables of you lot told me I couldn’t look at naked ladies!

  • Demons thrive in the dark. That dark being ignorance. In my 20s and 30s, I was fortunate enough to get to know many openly gay people at a time when being so wasn’t safe and wasn’t as accepted as it is today. They taught me that lesson. That they are just people like everyone else. The experience made me a better person, and opened my eyes to the reality that we are far more alike than we are different. But fear, and the desire for power over others get in the way….and blind us to this fact.

  • Totally. You get some age and seasoning on you and things shift into perspective. I never post on forums or anything. I just couldn’t take it after reading this. There has to be a reasoned counter argument. I also like the argument about the outside world (politics) invading their entertainment. Every art known to the world is shaped by politics.
