People will make biblical references because of how imbedded it is in modern society, history, culture, health, politics and the list goes on and on. But Bungie (who is likely anti-religion) does ban anything that generally involves religion as it states in the CoC Also I don’t think you can compare Christianity with liberalism. But I get what you are saying and again I think we can all agree that having something shoved down your throat repeatedly is frustrating but that’s in our daily lives because it’s life and we tolerate it, but like what this forum is about, it being reminded to you when you are trying to escape reality, and I can’t think of any game that tries to express Christian values, to my knowledge at least, I mean I can’t imagine logging into a game and seeing the words “go to church” y’know? But someone can correct me if a game as actually done that…

I know what you’re saying. I’m just saying, that religion is also shoved down our throats even when we didn’t ask for it. It so funny that when I read comments in any forum, people will reference the Bible, as if people who don’t believe in Christianity Will understand what they’re referencing. My argument is, why is ok to shove religion down peoples throats but it’s not ok to shove “liberalism” down peoples throats?

  • We could have several interesting discussions about this I think but I doubt the forum mods would let them happen because of CoC. Suffice to say popular culture in general has become more secular over the last 50 years… in a lot of ways to it’s detriment.

  • I genuinely miss the political/religious discussions. Controversy is exciting and thought provoking. I understand why they banned it, I still miss it dearly, though.
