Hi,
Beet is a general networking error and can be caused by a magnitude of things, some basic troubleshooting steps I would recommended is,
Restarting you Modem
Verifying Game Files (Steam Only)
Clearing the Cache
Using a Wired instead of Wireless connection.

Thank you. I should have mentioned I already followed all the troubleshooting steps and called my ISP. They say everything seems to be working fine and other games have no issues.

If you have tried all of those and called your ISP then the next thing I would recommended is completely uninstalling Destiny and reinstall it.
