Bungie does not ban people for bad connections you will get repeated 2 monthly restrictions. Buying the game does not give you any preferential treatment. But back on topic, I've replied to another user regarding connection quality, adjustments, and testing... If you would browse through this post you would probably catch it?... I'm just curiouse since I've been playing this Game since Destiny 1 almost 7 years now and I'm getting restrictions only now? Only things that have change is my setup is constanly being upgraded.. As next gen consoles came I upgraded, as a new standard for routers came I upgraded, and as for my service provider increased their maximum speed I upgraded.. I'm pretty tech savy to add I have a MCSE background and understand most of the technical aspect of networking. Thank you for the advice.

  • I have also been playing for 7 years with out issues until yesterday. And it seems we have a possible issue with our router it is getting tested on Wed after checking ours is now nearly 5 years old and that is a dinosaur in routers. But we are getting it tested just to sure it is that and not something else (we think it is a line fault) But just to appease our ISP we are getting it done or they will not send out an engineer 😕🤷‍♀️. We still have enough to play the game without any major issues but it needs to be fixed either way.

  • 5 Years that's a great run! Time for an upgrade 👍 it will definitely help with latency. Shots will count more consistently smoother spawn in times.. I've had my ISP pull out all my cabling from their connection point and run 2 fresh new lines into my house. Through the years though I've upgraded and upgraded and noticed something I would spawn in before other players in strikes and be a head of them most of the strike. That's when my clan was asking me what my setup was, the trick back then was running an SSD in my PS4 Pro.. Now on the PS5 its like a dream with 60fps and 120FPS crucible.. Hope all is well on your side, and thanks for listening about my issue😄
