Erianas is good but I hate the ammo economy for it.

It's either auto rifles, Erianas or, if you're ballsy (or extremely foolish) in GM's, Lament for AB. Auto rifles seem to be the best option since we get infinite primary ammo.

Seventh Seraph Carbine with some good range perks seems to work pretty well. Most of the other legendary autos have crap range.

What if you wanted to use another exotic though? Being stuck with either Eriana's Vow or auto rifles for anti-barrier mods is not good enough.

There are plenty of viable legendary LFR's for Proving Grounds if you want to use Erianas. If you'd rather utilize that exotic slot for another weapon, then use a legendary auto rifle.

The good thing about the rotating champ mods every season is it gives you an opportunity to use weapons you normally wouldn't use. Plenty of people are clearing GM's this week and they don't seem to be having any issues with using auto rifles for anti-barrier champs. If you're struggling with AB champs, it sounds like you just need more practice.

There's not much of an argument going on here. I'm making a counter-argument to your "auto rifles bad" argument, and you've chosen to go the [i]ad hominem[/i] route. As I stated before, if you're struggling with auto rifles for AB champs, you just need more practice. Try shooting stuff in patrol, that might help you. Actually, this account was created for the purpose of letting my nephew play the game. That way, I don't have to worry about them deleting stuff on my account, and I can run activities with them on my main. What's sad is you having a difficult time with AB champs.
