This is an excellent idea!
But I'm sure bungie will make it into an overly complicated grind-fest loaded with monetization.

Ah yes they should all work for free!

Edited by ABackSeatDriver: 11/12/2021 4:11:30 PMSo by your logic after grinding away for a god roll item it gets locked behind a pay wall until you pay it, after doing the work to acquire it. Also, we paid for past DLCs and bungie just took that content away without any compensation for them. We paid real currency for content and they removed it. No refunds, no anything and we still had to pay top dollar for the content coming in to 'replace' the old. There's making a living and then there's ripping people off. This is the latter.

You paid for the license to play the game, up to them to change as they see fit.

Wrong That downloaded content (DLCs) were paid expansions for the game to expand the game that we all paid for. By removing them they took content that we paid for from us. How is it that every single DLC in d1 is still there to be enjoyed at the end of its run but not the DLCs for d2 while its still actively being played? We got ripped off, plane and simple. And no amount of gaslighting is going to change that fact. Bungie is slipping further and further down to EA and Activision's level of scumery in how they conduct business. If they released free DLCs then yeah they can cut it when they want, but money changed hands and we're left with nothing to show for it.
