100% depends on who you ask. For me its definitely worth it. I can easily justify spending $100 on the deluxe edition of Which Queen. I don't play a lot of other games any more and I will put in well over 100 hours in destiny over the next year +.
While the content vault is kinda shitty when you call it what is it, its also a necessary evil at this point. Bungie flat said they couldn't maintain Destiny with how big it had gotten and the only alternative I can think of to the DCV would be Destiny 3. That all said its also vaulting 3 year old content, its not going to be supported forever.
"I think just in general I’m burnt out" TBH I think this is 100% the real issue. Take a break from time to time. The only reason I still enjoy Destiny is because I take large breaks when the game starts getting stale or isn't feeling enjoyable. If you want my 2 cents, take a break until you actually want to play Destiny.

Yep. Sometimes you just gotta step away for a bit. I’ve skipped two seasons in the past three years almost completely. And scaled back play to just a couple hours a week to get through the weekly story and do just enough to hit 100 in the season. It does kind of suck to miss out on the season pass stuff just because I’m burned out on the game itself. I usually come back to the game. I hope Bungie takes a cue from 343 and others and let you play through season ranks for seasons past seasons you own to get the loot. This season would have been perfect for it since I’m already 220+ and the season isn’t ending until Feb.

Yeah this a good season to just coast trough. I got my last raid drops and the Adept Plug one that I've been chasing. I'm probably gonna take it easy the rest of the season unless my clan needs help with a GM or Raid. TBH I hope 343's battle pass system becomes industry standard. I took off almost the whole season of the Warmind and would love to be able to grind that season pass retroactively. As it stands I'm level 319, so 219 levels that severed no point. Then again I did really grind the front half of this season so I can take another break after the December DLC.

Lol that’s the same season I took off too. I hit 1330 base, so yeah I too am good to coast a bit. I’m looking forward to seeing what’s new Dec 7th with the updates and anniversary stuff. But it’s gonna be kind of dry until then. Good time to catch up on Netflix and Hulu shows.
