I understand everyone’s pain when playing games, especially this one, because I’ve slaved 6 years to it. I’m not going to discuss the good this game does, because those things are implied, and yes, this game does a bunch of good things. If you want to read about good things, there are a bunch of other posts. The biggest issue to me besides the paywalls and besides the content droughts is the substance of the content. The content is watered down. Half of the story is in the grimoire, most of which doesn’t get made into content. All of this grimoire and lore means nothing when it doesn’t technically impact you. The cosmetics in my opinion are so terrible and just thrown together. The emotes are just cheap looking shapes and they cost way too much money for the quality. Annnnnd the shaders, OH MY GOD THE SHADERS! I don’t even know where to begin! Not only do they just randomly paint random parts of the gun/armor piece in ways that just don’t compliment the look, they don’t freaking match the icon for the shader! Here’s what we can say about the vault space: nothing, because it’s pretty clear where most people stand with it’s limited space in a game where you’re encouraged to collect things. I saw a post earlier today that talked about how blue items are shoving full stacks of ascendant shards in your postmaster into oblivion. His post didn’t receive well, it received a mass of negative comments. (Because this community is hot and cold, and over toxic) as I expect this one to do the same, but he’s right, why should one blue weapon destroy hours and hours of progress? I’m not even going to touch the absolute trash meta. I know everyone’s gonna hate on me, but just remember it’s an opinion from someone who loves this game. I want to see it succeed. I’ve nothing else to rant about, fix your game Bungie and listen to the community with your ears not your freaking grubby fingers clutching your chubby wallets, or no ones gonna play the game, don’t become another apex legends.
