Random frame drops, yet again.

I know this is an old topic (and a lost cause), but here's what I'm experiencing: I just bought a new laptop, hoping to play D2 in a much better state. My specs are: - msi gf65 thin 10ue-049it - i7-10750 - RTX 3060 Max-Q - 16GB RAM With high settings I can easily play at 120-144fps, all's fine until the game decides to have some random frame drops to 30-40fps, for a split second and then it returns to normal. Some areas are stuck to 80-90fps, but that depends on the map and I could understand it with some lesser specs, tbh. Ofc, this happens only with this game, while I can play Doom Eternal, 1920x1080, High settings, Ray tracing on and still get stable 120 and above fps. How is this game still so badly optimised?

  • i7 11700k 3070 TUF Gaming Edition 32GB DDR4 3200 RAM M.2 SSD Getting constant microstutters/split second fps drops, and fps is noticeably lower than a few seasons ago. Performance has been awful for me lately when all other games run fine. They messed something up big time.
