It's so -blam!- stupid this isn't in yet. It's just raising the cap.
How does a game become so broken that simply raise the item cap on something throw 17 million things out of whack?
Come on guys.

Honestly. Why would I bother trying to obtain materials to get weapons like the anarchy if it's just going to be a tedious pain in my -blam!-? I have 2 pages worth of exotics still locked in the monument and they all cost 10 ascendant shards and a cypher.

Pretty sure they all cost 1 or 2 shards lol, but I understand where you're coming from!

Its probably something to do with the items value. If they raise the cap from 10 ascendant shards to 50 then I guess Bungie think that makes them worth less overall because you can horde more. That argument doesn't hold up at all seeing as everyone is finding their own ways to horde more than the 10 cap anyway. Most of us have 10 in our inventory and 10 in the postmaster, I've heard of players masterworking book rolled exotics just because they give you 1 shard back on dismantle, etc.

Yes, this!

Because the game isn’t optimized at all. They had to vault content in order to make room for new content. They surely want to put minimal effort in any quality of life areas regardless of majority or minority opinions.
