For me, Vex is like The Last Word
When someone whips it out, I just groan.
It’s not Op or anything, just annoying to fight.

It’s because of that exact feeling that I feel like it needs more of a balance than a direct nerf. It’s too potent at all ranges.

HC’s have more range than it. And considering how effective snipers and special ammo LFR’s are, Vex is in no need of a range buff or nerf.

The only primary HC with more range than Vex is Ace of Spades. Snipers are only as effective as their user and while the same thing can be said about any weapon, Vex has been described as “easy to use”. Lorentz’ Driver is the only special ammo LFR isn’t it? Correct me if I’m wrong.

Arbalest is special ammo. Vex experiences way more falloff than HC’s. Challenging it with my Thorn made me realize that.

I wasn’t a god in any way, but most of my shots were headshots. Even if it has more falloff, which I don’t think it does, all they would have to do to combat that is move a little closer. The flinch from Vex’s fire rate is enough to put HC’s in their place. I was certainly put in mine.
