And also can’t get it because the RNG in D2 is -blam!-. I agree that Vex needs a balance though, not a nerf. It shouldn’t be so potent at all ranges.

Me too and it’s not worth using in trials, hand cannon and a sniper/shotgun is far superior any day, definitely average

The only handcannon that outranges Vex is Ace, by 4.5 meters. And even then, Vex still does amazing at that range. I've won entire rounds of trials by pushing in, getting a kill with vex, and then 2v1ing the enemy team with a .67 ttk. Not to mention having the best lfr in the game stacked ontop. Vex still beats out all handcannons in kill percentage in trials too.

Vex is owned by 25% of the population and is used by around 5% in crucible. Yet, it beats out every gun in the game in terms of kills and headshots. Why?

Because it works at multiple ranges. It can also be beaten at different ranges by specific weapons. It is a weapon that is good in most areas but king at none.

It's the best in class auto with a damage boost that I'd objectively better than rampage, along with an accuracy and stability boost. Plus a 100 AA low zoom LFR (all others have AA in the 30s.). You sure it's king in none?

Yes...it gets beat by 140 hand cannons straight up or fusion rifles at mid range, it gets beat by sidearms, smg's, last word, shotguns, or fusion rifles at close range, it gets bear by any decent pulse rifle at long range, and the longer range it loses to high rate fire scouts and snipers. But hey, you just keep crying. You may as well. We all know that Bungie listens to the crybabies and will nerf it for your poor little feelings.

What? So you say it's perfectly fine because it doesn't beat out shotguns in shotgun ranges? So felwinters was okay because you couldn't use it at sniper range? I own the gun, I could keep my mouth shut and keep 3v1ing people in trials, but that just adds to a shitty meta. Let me ask you this. Why, if so many things beat Vex so easily, why does it have many times more kills and headshots than those weapons?

Vex has a range of 30 meters. Ace has the highest range of all primary handcannons. Ace has a range of 34.5 meters. You're wrong.

Reckon it is an ownership thing. People who don't have it think it is OP. Maybe once they have it and it gets nerfed they will cry for a buff. It is balanced. Except the linear fusion mode perhaps which should require more kills to proc.

Stop complaining mate, you are just too skilled I reckon. See the messenger has overtaken vex for the coveted position of most used. A desperado messenger does wreck and ttk and range way better than Vex. Also when bungie buffs other exotics such as suros it will change the meta up again. Autos have been underperforming too long and hand canons are way too dominant.

You can't use the metric of most used when Vex is as rare as it is. Regardless, it still beats messenger in kills and headshots. As for TTK, a messenger will only beat Vex if you only hit headshots. Vex has a ttk of .77, while messenger has a .68. Taking into account its damage boost, Vex gets up to .67. Sure, handcannons are used more, they're much more common. But Vex on a case by case basis beats every single one.
