Why the hell is this stupid mode matching us against the same team twice in a row after they beat us? How does that even work? We're on 5 wins and the other team is also, and they beat us, then we match up again INSTANTLY and it's the same damn team? It didn't even try to find people on the same wins for EITHER of us. This system is broken.

  • Not that broken. You both probably queued for the next match at the same time, both in similar places on the card. You don’t have access to the whole trials pool whenever you hit launch it’s whoever’s queuing at the same time as you. It’s almost like a lot of trials complaints are now coming from people that don’t play pvp games now…

"it’s whoever’s queuing at the same time as you" It's people queuing at the same time AS WELL as people with the same wins. It's still card based matchmaking, which is SUPPOSED to match you with people who are at the same amount of wins that you are. It SHOULD be trying to match people at 6 wins with other people at 6 wins. It SHOULDN'T match people at 6 wins with a team at 5 wins IMMEDIATELY after hitting launch. The system didn't even try to match them with anybody at the same wins (6) as them, and it didn't even try to match my team with anybody at the same wins (5) that we had. Educate yourself kid.

  • I did. I said it matches you with people in roughly the same place on the card which isn’t new. It’s been that way for a long -blam!- time.

  • That is irrelevant. Point is, it shouldn't be doing that NOW. Maybe you should go monitor the halls instead.

  • Man you’re great at discussions. I’m not disputing the fact in an ideal situation it would do that. I’m saying it doesn’t and never has and sadly never will. 5-6 wins isn’t a big difference and if you don’t want to rematch people don’t instantly queue post match.

  • The system should still at least try to match you with a team at the same number of wins. It doesn't even do that. it should, and it might, if Bungie actually implemented a proper system instead of this broken mess that we have dealt with for years. The fix might be ditching card based altogether, since it's trash and D1's Trials was way better when they got rid of it. Not sure why they brought it back.

  • Unfortunately that's just bad luck, been happening now and then since D1

  • Dude this happened to me last night 3 times. On our 6th win they beat us we lost our mercy.....no biggie, match them again and lose our flawless. Then we're like okay we'll just get the 7th win anyways and we matched them AGAIN
